PRIDE PARARDE

Sunday marked the 43rd annual Chicago Pride Parade. An estimated 850,000 people lined up from Montrose Avenue and Broadway in Uptown to the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park. The parade, which began at noon, was led by politicians Gov. Pat Quinn and Mayor Rahm Emanuel. This year the record crowd was buzzing and in full support of Chicago’s vibrant LGBT community. Here are photographs Kevin Doellman took from the event.
